Introduction

Family structures can change over time and it’s helpful to stay up to date with these changes. Community members can divorce and remarry. Some students go to live with family members who aren’t their parents. You can update Zunia to reflect these changes.

This guide explains how to delete relationships in a community member profile.

Delete a relationship

To delete a relationship go to School community profiles>Community members. 
 

Search the community member by name in the search field.

Select their name in the list of results.

In Relationships, select the name of the person you’re deleting, then select View.

A Relationship window displays. It shows the name and details of the person and their relationship to the community member. Select Delete.

A Delete relationship window displays confirming the name and relationship status. Check the details are correct and then select Delete.

You’ll get a notification saying you’ve deleted the relationship.

The community member’s profile will update straight away. In Relationships, you will no longer see the name of the person or the relationship you’ve just deleted.

Check the household

The relationship you’ve deleted might be part of a household. Check to see if the person you’ve deleted needs to be moved to a different household or address.

If they don’t, leave them in the household. If they do, you’ll need to move them to another address. Go to Check and update a household article to move them to another address.
