Set up an invoice template for single or repeat use

You'll need to create an invoice template and apply it to a debtor account before invoices can be created.

Go to your Finance entity > Finance settings > Debtor ledger settings.

  1. Under Debtor ledgers, select a debtor ledger from the list available or you can use the search and filter menu to find a specific one.
  2. Once a debtor ledger is selected, you’ll see a secondary menu appear next to Debtor ledger information. Select Invoice templates to see all existing templates.
  3. To create a new invoice template, select the Add button under the user settings icon User settings icon depicting a circular green icon with two initials MW,
  4. Add a Template name and Description to describe the repeat invoice.
  5. Add a Sort order number if you want to prioritise your templates in a specific order.
  6. Under Payment types and the How to pay fields, add the information needed for debtors to pay via bank transfer, phone or in person.

       7. Once all required fields are complete, select Save.

You’re finished creating an invoice template.
