Introduction
You can track what medications the school stores for a student at the school in Medication inventory and add new ones at any time.
Add a medication for a student
To add a medication for a student, go to Health and medical > Medication inventory.
Search for student and their medication
First, find the student you want to add medication for:
In Medication inventory, enter the name of the student in Search and select the name from the list
Select the
filters icon to narrow your search. For example, you can search by medication expiry date, medication status or storage location.
Add a medication
To add a medication for a student, select the 3-dots
icon in the student name listed in search results.
Select View medication.
In Medical information, select Add.
Fill in the information in Add medication:
Enter the medication details. The medication name is mandatory.
In Condition, give the treatment details.
In Authorisation, enter if the school can dispense this medication or if it's to be taken at home.
In Responsibility and storage, give the storage details if this medication is to be managed by the school.
Select Add.
You have now added a medication for a student.
