Edit or delete a medication for a student

Introduction

You can track what medications the school stores for a student at the school in Medication inventory and edit or delete them at any time.

 

Edit or delete a medication for a student 

To edit or delete a medication the school stores for a student, go to Health and medical Medication inventory.

 

Search for student and their medication

First, find the student you want to edit or delete medication for:   

  • In Medication inventory, enter the name of the student in Search and select the name from the list     

  • Select the  filters icon to narrow your search. For example, you can search by medication expiry date, medication status or storage location.


Edit a medication for a student

To edit a medication for a student, select the 3-dots  icon in the student name listed in search results.  

  1. Select View medication

  1. In Medications, select the 3-dots  icon in the medication record you want to edit.

  1. Select Edit

  1. Edit the medication details and Select Save.  

  1. Go to Medical conditions > Add to add a new medical condition for this student or link to an existing medical condition. 

This updates the medication for a student.
 

Delete a medication for a student

To delete a medication for a student, in Medication inventory select the 3-dots  icon in the student name listed in search results.

  1. Select View medication

  1. In Medications, select the 3-dots  icon in the medication record you want to delete.

  1. Select Delete

  1. A pop-up appears for you to check if you want to delete medication.  

  1. Select Delete.
    This deletes the medication for a student.
