Introduction
Grading scales in academic reports are a way to define the progress of a student against their learning areas and assessable criteria.
For example, you might set up a grading scale based on an A-E grade scale and define that a score of 85-100% results in an A grade. So, 85% and higher is the top tier for that grade.
Academic reporting uses these scales to demonstrate periodical progress of a student.
