Introduction

Teaching notes can be recorded in student plan to document any adjustments made in the classroom to allow a student to learn and participate. They’re a quick and easy way to capture learning insights about what has/hasn’t worked in application so others with access to the plan can benefit.

Owners and contributors can both make notes once a student plan is published. They’re particularly useful when the owner reviews the plan to evaluate progress and summarise learning goals and outcomes.

To publish a student plan you must be a plan owner or add/manage contributors, and your System Admin needs to assign you the right user permissions.

Add a teaching note

Owners and contributors can add teaching notes to a student plan after it’s published.

Go to Student wellbeing > Student plans and adjustments.

  1. Select a Student name from the list to view existing student plan/s.
  2. Select the Plan name from the list view to open it
  3. Under Teaching notes, enter a summary of the adjustment you’d like to record and select Add.

You’ve added a teaching note or adjustment to the student plan.

Update or delete a teaching note

Owners and contributors can update or delete their own teaching notes after a student plan is published.

Go to Student wellbeing > Student plans and adjustments.
