Link student wellbeing records

Introduction

A cross-reference allows you to link related student wellbeing records. For example, you might want to link a wellbeing record about unfinished homework to a wellbeing record for a detention.

The cross-reference appears as a link in each record.

To add a cross-reference to a wellbeing record, go to Student wellbeingView wellbeing records.

Select the wellbeing record

Use the search filters to find the student wellbeing record you want to add a cross-reference to.

  1. Go to Student wellbeing.
  2. Select View wellbeing records.
  3. Select a Wellbeing category. If you want to view the wellbeing records for all categories, choose Select all.
  4. Select the Date range using the calendar icon.
  5. Use the search field to select the student you want to edit the wellbeing record of.

  1. Select the record you want to add the cross-reference to.

The record displays.

Add a cross-reference

In Cross-references, select Add.

In Add cross-reference, select the cross-reference type:

AggregateAn aggregate of this wellbeing record.
ConsequenceA consequence of this wellbeing record.
DuplicateA duplicate of this wellbeing record.
RelatedRelated to this wellbeing record.
ResultA result of this wellbeing record.

Next, use the filters to find the wellbeing record you want to link to.

Search records

  1. To filter the records by date range, select Filter using date range.
  2. Select the date range using the calendar icon.
  3. In Wellbeing record, search for the related record using the record ID or wellbeing category name.
  4. Select Add.

The two records are linked, and the linked record is displayed in Cross-references.
