Introduction

A student rollover allows you transfer a group of students from one academic year into the next and update their enrolment properties. It normally happens at end of the academic year after students leave the school, or withdraw at the beginning of the next school year.

The following checklist helps schools complete the student rollover process so students academic statuses are kept up to date.

Each school's process when preparing for a new school year includes:

  • Add the new academic year and terms
  • Validate leaving students, final year/graduating students, repeating students and new starters
  • Rollover current students to the next year level
  • Transfer future students (new starters) to current students
  • Transfer leaving students (leavers) to past students.

Before you can access the rollover and bulk transfer functionality, your IT Administrator needs to assign you the Student rollover permissions.
