Introduction

After you've approved the receipts, you can close off the batch.

Closed batches are ready for general ledger export and the next debtor statement run.

If you’ve connected Zunia to an accounting application like MYOB or Xero, receipts will automatically send when you close a batch.

This guide shows you how to close off a receipt batch.

Find a batch

To find a batch, go to your [Finance entity name] > Cash receipts entry. This will display a list of batches.

Select the batch you want to close off. You can use the filters to help you find it.

Close off a batch

To close off a batch, you need to:

Select the batch you want to close off.
Make sure all the receipts in this batch are approved. A green tick indicates an approved receipt.
Select Close off. If Zunia is connected to your accounting application, select Close batch and send receipts. This will automatically send receipts to your accounting application:

MYOB Banking > Find transactions
Xero Banking > Account transactions

3. Select Confirm.

You've now closed off this batch. The status of the batch changes to Closed.

Troubleshooting tips

If a batch has errors or issues sending receipts, it can't close off. You can edit approved receipts in an open or closed batch.

Checking your application connection

If there is an issue with the connection to your accounting application, check the connection.

Sending batch receipts

If there is an issue sending receipts in a batch to your accounting application, Zunia will highlight which receipts require your attention. If you can't fix those by editing the receipt, check the following details in your accounting application:

GL codes
Finance entity
Sign in credentials.

Locating receipts sent

Sent receipts will be in your accounting application in the following locations:

MYOB – Banking > Find transactions
Xero – Banking > Account transactions
