Introducing Tes Universal Account - a new way to log in to Zunia

• As part of Tes, a small change to the way everyone will log in to Zunia including the Zunia School App for Parents is coming.
• Zunia users who are affected by this change, will be sent an email with prompts to create a Tes Universal Account when their school rolls across.

Edit academic reports while reviewing

• You can now make changes to comments or grades to academic reports from Manage reports, without having to re-assign report back to the teacher.

Smarter subject pages in academic reports

• When creating PDFs of academic reports, Zunia now groups as many subjects to fit on a page in their entirety. If a subject’s content won’t fit on a page with other subjects, Zunia will add a page break and display the subject on the next page.

Assessments visible in Zunia’s main menu

• You can now make changes to comments or grades to academic reports from Manage reports, without having to re-assign report back to the teacher.

OAuth 2.0 for a safe and secure public API

• You can now create API keys using OAuth 2.0 for securely passing sensitive information using our public API.

Updates to WA Census export

• Updated mapping for column 14 (Curriculum council number) to use the value stored in Government Student Number as Student ID.

Updates to Victorian Census export

• The export now includes a total column and Total FTE row.

Improvement

Set up consistent and on-brand academic reports in clicks

• We listened to feedback from school administrators. You can now add a report for any academic period and select a subject template to apply to all subjects for the reports.
• Reports include a customisable front cover you can preview, a student overview page, a page for for every subject taught in the academic period for the report and you can upload a PDF to include in the report. Read more at Overview of academic reporting in Zunia
• Templates are set once and can be reused any number of times. Read more about Add and manage templates in the template library

Update to public API

• All community member information can be accessed
• You can now update the following community information:
  • Personal information (name, date of birth, title)
  • Contact information (phone, email)
  • Demographics (nationality, religion)
  • Occupation
  • Education

Bug fix

Marks book data export cleansed to resolve formatting issues

• When exporting grading data from a marks book, the issue causing student initials and/or truncation in the name column has been resolved.

• When viewing assessments within a subject, now you can see which class is assigned to understand where it will be assessed.

• When opening a marks book, you can now use filters to control which academic year/period and/or subject you want to grade to pre-filter your class selection.

Improvement

Quickly cover teachers classes when they're away

• You can now assign substitute teachers for individual class periods directly from the timetable. You can also change the room if required. Learn how in how to assign a substitute teacher.

• Community member profile, occupation and education can now be accessed.

Bug fix

Class name displays in timetable

• We have made it easier to identify classes in the timetable by displaying their name rather than their subject and class ID.

Zunia mobile app for parents: Control replies when sending messages

• When sending a message to parent/s using the Zunia mobile app, staff can now control whether or not to 'Allow replies' to cater for both one and two-way communications.

Bug fix

Timetables now show correct number of students in a class

• We fixed the issue that caused the timetable to display an incorrect student count against each class.

Improvement

Marks book: Introducing syllabuses to streamline grading students

Now Teachers and Curriculum Coordinators can assign common curriculums to a subject and assessment, so that student progress is assessed against learning outcomes in a marks book.

Common curriculums available are:
• Australian Curriculum V9 (F-10)
• Victorian Curriculum V2.0 (F-10)
•    Western Australian Curriculum (K-10)
