Find a debtor account

Introduction 

In Zunia, a debtor account is where schools keep student billing and payment information.

In a debtor account, you'll find:  

• the contact details of those responsible for paying school fees (debtors)  student payment details   
• the methods of payment used   

Sometimes, you’ll need to find a debtor account to update the account information or check the billing and payments.  

This guide shows you how to find a debtor account in Zunia. 

Use a student's name to find a debtor account  

You can use the name of a student to find any debtor accounts that they’re linked to.  

To find a debtor account in Zunia, go to Billing and fees > Debtor accounts. 

1. Select Search by student. 
2. Enter a student's surname, then Search. 
3. All debtor accounts linked to the student will display.  
4. Select the debtor account you need.  

The debtor account information displays. You can: 

• Check or update the financial details in Account
•  Confirm or update their contact details in Contacts 
• Check that all student details are correct in Students   

Next, find the debtor account using the debtor's name.  

Use a debtor's name to find a debtor account  

You can also use the name of a debtor to find a debtor account. Go to School finance > Debtor accounts. 

1. Select Search by debtor. 
2. Enter a debtor's surname, then Search. All debtor accounts containing the debtor will display.  
3. Select the debtor account you need.  

The debtor account information displays, and you can check or update any debtor account details.  

Now you can find a debtor account in Zunia using the name of a student or a debtor.
