Register and integrate with payments partner Fat Zebra

Introduction

Zunia’s payments partner is Fat Zebra. Schools need to register and create a merchant account with Fat Zebra. The merchant account will be used by Education Horizons to integrate Zunia with Fat Zebra to process payments in Zunia.

This guide shows you how to register your school with Fat Zebra and integrate Zunia with Fat Zebra. 

Note: If a school has multiple finance entities, each entity will need a separate registration with Fat Zebra.
 

Register with Fat Zebra

To register with Fat Zebra, go to System Configuration > Integrations.
 

1. Select Configure for Fat Zebra.
2. Against your school finance entity, select You will be taken to the Fat Zebra registration page in a separate window outside of Zunia.
3. Complete the registration form to provide your school business and financial details.
   Note: The school email address used in the registration will be the primary email that will receive general correspondence from Fat Zebra.

You have now completed the registration process with Fat Zebra. Fat Zebra will review the details for approval and creation of a merchant account. 

Integrate Zunia with Fat Zebra

Fat Zebra will contact us and work with us to enable Fat Zebra for your school. You will be informed by us when your school is integrated with Fat Zebra.

After your Fat Zebra registration has been approved, Fat Zebra will email the school with the merchant account information to allow the school to access the merchant dashboard.

1. To check the successful integration in Zunia, go to System Configuration > Integrations > School finance. This will display your Fat Zebra account details showing an active integration status.

You are now successfully integrated with Fat Zebra and can process payments using Zunia.
